Sakurada Kenshin (사쿠라다 켄신, born December 2, 2007) is a Japanese vocalist and rapper in CLOSE YOUR EYES, the seven-member boy group formed through JTBC Project 7. He ranked second in the survival competition and served as center for the signal song RUN (Up To You).
Born in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture, Kenshin comes from a musical family: his father Sakurada Makoto is an accomplished concert and opera tenor. He trained at Tokyo School of Music and Dance before auditioning for Project 7, specializing in K-pop and hip-hop dance styles. Before the show, he built a following posting dance covers on Instagram and TikTok.
Kenshin debuted with CYE on April 2, 2025 with the mini album Eternalt. He has since contributed to three releases: Eternalt, Snowy Summer (July 2025), and Blackout (November 2025). In October 2025, Uncore announced a temporary hiatus for Kenshin due to health issues; the group has continued activities during his recovery.
