Seita

Seita (セイタ), born Kawashima Seita on November 28, 2006, is a rapper and vocalist in NEXZ, the JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Japan group built through Nizi Project Season 2. Before entering the idol system, he spent years working as a child and teen model, a background that gave him unusual camera fluency long before debut. That polish helped him stand out on the survival show even as he was still shaping the performance side of his game.

What makes Seita interesting inside NEXZ is that his profile is not built on one obvious gimmick. He moves between rap, vocal support, and center-ready visual work, which makes him useful across the group's constantly shifting Korea-Japan strategy. Since NEXZ launched with Ride the Vibe in 2024, then expanded through Nallina, O-RLY?, One Bite, and Beat-Boxer, Seita has been part of a roster asked to grow in public at a very high speed. His earlier modeling history makes that transition look smoother than it does for most rookies.

NEXZ has already stacked Hanteo and Circle wins in Korea, topped major Japanese sales charts, and drawn more than 50,000 fans for the 2025 One Bite tour. Inside that run, Seita reads as one of the members who helps the group maintain visual clarity without losing musical flexibility.
