NEXZ
NEXZ (넥스지) is a seven-member boy group formed through JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment Japan via the Nizi Project Season 2 survival show. Debuting on May 20, 2024, with the single Ride the Vibe, the group consists of six Japanese members and one Korean national, designed from the ground up for both Korean and Japanese markets. Their name combines "next generation" and "Generation Z," and they deliver on that brief: technically sharp dancers, capable vocalists, and a bilingual performance range that few groups can match.
Their debut year included a Japanese release, Keep on Moving, and their first full EP, Nallina, which charted in the Top 10 on both the Korean Circle and Japanese Oricon charts. The follow-up, O-RLY?, arrived in April 2025 and topped the Circle chart. Their third Korean EP, Beat-Boxer, dropped in October 2025 with a title track built on a relentless hip-hop and EDM hybrid, entering charts in both countries simultaneously.
In summer 2025, NEXZ completed their first live tour, NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2025: One Bite, across Japan. In March 2026, they announced a second Japanese arena tour, NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2026, signaling their rapid ascent from rookies to arena-ready act. NEXZ operate under the creative infrastructure that launched Stray Kids, ITZY, and TWICE, but they are building something distinctly their own.
