Seo Kang-jun

Seo Kang-jun (서강준), born Lee Seung-hwan, spent the 2010s building one of the cleaner actor-to-star climbs in Korean television. He came through Fantagio's actor-training system and debuted in the 5urprise project, but the reason he lasted is simpler: he reads like a lead. Even early on, his screen presence leaned toward control rather than noise, which made him usable across youth romance, thriller, and prestige melodrama.

Cheese in the Trap turned him into a breakout name in 2016, and later dramas such as Are You Human?, Watcher, and When the Weather Is Fine proved that the appeal was not genre-specific. After military service, he re-entered the market through Grid and then fully reset his momentum with MBC's Undercover High School in 2025, a return big enough to end with the network's Daesang.

Now managed by Man of Creation, Seo is in the premium primetime lane for good. His 2026 KBS drama Another Love But You opposite Ahn Eun-jin keeps him in front-rank casting territory, and the broader catalog already shows why he remains one of the most bankable actors of his generation.
