Song Seungho
Song Seungho (송승호) is the lead rapper and sub-vocalist of CLOSE YOUR EYES, placing fifth in Project 7's December 2024 finale. Born August 1, 2007 in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do, he is one of the group's youngest members alongside Seo Kyoungbae.
Before Project 7, Seungho trained with Hi-Hat Entertainment. He entered the competition as a relatively unknown trainee but quickly gained attention for his visual appeal and distinct vocal tone. He was selected as one of Project 7's top seven visuals by fellow contestants. Throughout the competition, he performed as main rapper in team stages including Taeyong's "SHALALA" and Stray Kids' "LALALA," ranking first in his team for the Original Match performance of "Merry-Go-Round."
Seungho's fluent Japanese makes him the group's de facto interpreter for Japanese member Sakurada Kenshin on stage and in variety content. His personality has been compared to a puppy by fans and groupmates alike. His role model is NCT's Jaehyun, and he has expressed interest in energetic hip-hop concepts.
Through CYE's first year, Song Seungho appeared on KBS's Return of Superman: My Dream Buddy and took up guitar at UNCORE HQ in Gangnam, Seoul. The group held their first solo concert "Beyond Your Eyes" in January 2026, with Song Seungho performing new material ahead of CYE's fourth mini-album targeting April 2026.
