THE BOYZ
THE BOYZ (더보이즈) is a South Korean boy group that debuted on December 6, 2017 under Cre.Ker Entertainment (later IST Entertainment) with the EP The First. Known for their technical precision and intricate choreography, the group earned the nickname "Performance Kings" within the K-pop community and built one of the most devoted fanbases of the fourth generation.
After establishing their commercial footing with Bloom Bloom (2019) and debut studio album Reveal (2020), the group cemented their international reputation on Mnet's Kingdom: Legendary War (2021). Their performance concepts -- multi-stage constructions, live instrument sections, and thematic continuity -- set a benchmark for competition stage production that year. The single album MAVERICK (2021) followed and remains their most iconic individual release.
In 2023, THE BOYZ released their sophomore studio album PHANTASY across three parts, capping the IST Entertainment era. After signing with ONE HUNDRED Label in November 2024, their third studio album Unexpected (March 2025) broke their own records with first-week sales of 743,255 copies on Hanteo and a No. 1 debut on the Circle Album Chart.
In February 2026, nine members filed for contract termination with ONE HUNDRED Label, citing unpaid settlements since July 2025. Member Sangyeon is currently serving mandatory military service (enlisted March 2025), and Ju Haknyeon departed in June 2025.
