WEi
WEi (위아이) is a six-member South Korean boy group under Oui Entertainment, debuting on October 5, 2020 with the EP Identity: First Sight. The group was assembled from veterans of multiple Mnet and MBC survival programs: Jang Dae-hyeon and Kim Dong-han from Produce 101 Season 2, Kim Yo-han from Produce X 101 (where he finished first), and Yoo Yong-ha and Kim Jun-seo from Under Nineteen and 1the9. Kang Seok-hwa joined via Kim Yo-han's personal recommendation after training at YG Entertainment. The group name combines "We" and "I," reflecting the balance between collective identity and individual character. WEi built their sound around melodic pop with R&B and electronic influences across eight Korean EPs and two Japanese EPs between 2020 and 2025, including major releases Love Pt. 1 through 3, The Feelings (January 2025), and Wonderland (October 2025). On March 25, 2026, Oui Entertainment announced all members would pursue individual activities while continuing under the WEi name, marked by the release of Save on March 27, 2026, the 2,000-day anniversary single co-written by leader Daehyeon.
