WEi

WEi (위아이) debuted in October 2020 under Oui Entertainment with a lineup already carrying survival-show equity and built-in name recognition. Jang Dae-hyeon, Kim Dong-han, Yoo Yong-ha, Kim Yo-han, Kang Seok-hwa, and Kim Jun-seo gave the group a sharper starting point than most rookies because the public already knew parts of the cast from Produce and Under Nineteen.

What followed was a steady catalog build rather than a one-shot breakout. The Identity and Love series established WEi as a melodic performance group with a softer emotional center than many of their peers, then later releases like The Feelings, Wonderland, and the 2026 single Save kept that throughline intact even as the members moved deeper into solo schedules and acting work.

The group entered a more flexible phase in March 2026 when Oui said the members would prioritize individual activities while continuing under the WEi name. That matters less as a collapse story than as a reset. WEi already has the discography, touring history, and member recognition to remain useful as both a group brand and a launchpad for separate careers.
