Shon Seung-wan (손승완), known as Wendy (웬디), is the main vocalist of Red Velvet and one of the most technically reliable singers to come out of third-generation K-pop. Born on February 21, 1994 in Seoul, she spent formative years in Canada and the US before returning to Korea to train and debut with Red Velvet in 2014.Wendy launched her solo career in April 2021 with Like Water, then widened the range with Wish You Hell in March 2024.
