Ye-on

Ye-on (예온), born Kim Na-yeon (김나연) on April 19, 2010, is a South Korean idol and the lead vocalist and maknae of Hearts2Hearts under SM Entertainment. Her stage name combines the characters Ye (藝, meaning "talent") and On (蘊, meaning "accumulation"). Born in Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do, Ye-on is an only child who began singing at the age of five or six. She was discovered through SM Entertainment Instagram DM scouting while in sixth grade and trained for approximately two years -- one of the shortest trainee tenures among Hearts2Hearts members. At her first audition, Ye-on performed Jessie J"s "Price Tag." Her role model is Girls Generation"s Taeyeon, and within Hearts2Hearts she is recognised for her eye smile and expressive stage presence. She passed both the Middle School and High School Equivalency exams while still a trainee, and her pet cat Leo regularly appears in fan communications. Ye-on debuted with Hearts2Hearts on February 24, 2025, with the single album The Chase and its lead single of the same name. The group followed with Style, Focus, and Rude!, establishing Hearts2Hearts as one of SM"s most consistent debut acts in years. Ye-on"s vocal tone -- warm and resonant for her age -- has drawn particular praise from fans, and she is known for her playful energy in group variety content. As of debut, Ye-on was the youngest active idol under SM Entertainment. She sees herself as the group"s cutie and has cited musicals as her specialty. Her MBTI is INTJ (previously ISTJ), and she is a self-described morning person with a habit of being the first to respond in the group fan chats.
