Yongseung

Yongseung (용승), born Kim Yong-seung (김용승) on June 17, 2000, in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, is a singer-songwriter and musical actor under Jellyfish Entertainment. He is the Main Dancer and Sub-Vocalist of the South Korean boy group VERIVERY (베리베리). Yongseung joined Jellyfish as a trainee on August 31, 2016, training for two and a half years before his introduction as VERIVERY's fourth member on September 6, 2018. He graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA) on February 15, 2019, where his classmates included Hyunjin of Stray Kids and Chanyoung of D-CRUNCH. On January 9, 2019, he debuted with VERIVERY's first mini album VERI-US and its lead single "Ring Ring Ring." Across VERIVERY's discography spanning the Face It trilogy, the Series O era, and the Liminality series, Yongseung consistently led the group's performance-heavy identity. He has written lyrics for several VERIVERY songs and has trained in musical theatre alongside his group activities. After approximately two and a half years away, he returned with VERIVERY for the single album Lost and Found in December 2025. Known off stage for his Rubik's Cube collection, StarCraft habit, and meticulously tidy personality, Yongseung tends a veranda garden and lists Jason Mraz among his favorite artists.
