Yoon Ji-sung
Yoon Ji-sung (윤지성) gave Wanna One something every project group needs but rarely gets naturally: a member who could stabilise the room without flattening its energy. As the oldest member and leader, he helped shape the group's emotional tone during one of K-pop's most commercially explosive short-run eras. That presence was part warmth, part endurance. He had already spent years navigating the trainee system before Produce 101 Season 2, which made his eventual debut in 2017 feel earned rather than accidental.
After the group ended, Yoon turned that hard-won goodwill into a steady solo career built around fan-facing releases, musicals, and variety work instead of constant noise. Aside, Dear Diary, and later projects showed a softer, more reflective musical lane, while stage work kept him visible beyond idol cycles. That is why his role in the 2026 reunion still lands so clearly. He does not just trigger nostalgia. He brings back the exact grounding force that made the original lineup feel emotionally coherent in the first place.
