Yuseop
Yuseop (유섭) is a vocalist and songwriter in NOUERA, the multinational K-pop boy group under Nouer Entertainment. Born Han Yu-seop (한유섭) in Seoul on May 6, 2004, he brings a distinctly composed, guitar-forward energy to the group, blending old-school idol charisma with genuine musicianship rare in idol pop. While he finished 7th and last in the MAKEMATE1 finale with 5,757 points, his fan-voted momentum throughout the competition made him one of the show's most talked-about contestants.
Before MAKEMATE1, Yuseop built a layered trainee history. He trained at Jellyfish Entertainment, where he was part of the label's all-male trainee showcase group Jelly-i, before entering Mnet's BOYS PLANET in 2023 as a Jellyfish representative. He was eliminated in episode 5 at rank 85, but his guitar-centered identity and raw vocal performance drew attention. After departing Jellyfish in late 2023, he trained briefly at 143 Entertainment before being selected for MAKEMATE1 in 2024.
Yuseop graduated from Garak High School in Seoul in 2023. He describes his charm as being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a nod to his simultaneously tough and warm stage presence. An avid guitarist since childhood, he has cited Justin Bieber, BIGBANG's Taeyang, and B.I as musical role models. He speaks Korean and conversational English.
NOUERA debuted on February 26, 2025 with the EP Chapter: New Is Now. Their third mini album POP IT LIKE, released March 9, 2026, marked a more colorful and freewheeling chapter for the group, with Yuseop's new hair styling becoming a standout talking point among NovA fans ahead of the drop.
