Zhou Jieqiong

Zhou Jieqiong (周洁琼), known in Korea as Kyulkyung, is a Chinese singer and actress who bridged two entertainment industries before pivoting to a full-time acting career in China. Born December 16, 1998 in Taizhou, Zhejiang, she studied the pipa at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music's affiliated school before Pledis Entertainment scouts discovered her in Shanghai in 2009. She placed sixth on Mnet's Produce 101, debuting with I.O.I in May 2016, then joined Pledis girl group Pristin and its subunit Pristin V. The group's disbandment in 2019 marked a turning point: Zhou shifted her focus entirely to acting in China under her own label, Zhou Jieqiong Studio. Her breakout role came with Miss Truth (2020), a Tang Dynasty mystery drama for Youku, followed by the historical fantasy Legend of Fei (2020) opposite Wang Yibo. Be My Princess (2022) established her as a leading name in Chinese period drama, and Romance in the Alley (2024) further cemented her range. In April 2025, she starred in the oriental martial arts ensemble drama Bamboo Pavilion by the Huai River, one of her most prominent leading roles to date. She made a special appearance in xianxia drama FEUD the same year. One of the more active Chinese-Korean crossover talents, she maintains a thriving career in mainland China's streaming market while keeping a loyal Korean fanbase from her I.O.I and Pledis years.
