Zhou Jieqiong
Zhou Jieqiong (周洁琼), known to many K-pop fans as Kyulkyung, is one of the clearest Produce-era examples of idol visibility turning into a durable second act. She finished sixth on Produce 101, debuted with I.O.I in May 2016, then moved into Pledis Entertainment's next girl-group cycle through Pristin and Pristin V before the Korean group chapter closed.
What followed is why her page still matters. Instead of staying frozen in nostalgia, Zhou rebuilt her center of gravity in China under Zhou Jieqiong Studio and stacked a real acting run through Miss Truth, Legend of Fei, Be My Princess, Romance in the Alley, FEUD, and Bamboo Pavilion by the Huai River. That pivot kept the idol-era recognition, but shifted the business around long-form screen work.
She now sits in a useful dual-market lane. Korean audiences still know the precision and visibility of the I.O.I years. Chinese viewers increasingly know her through studio-led dramas and a still-public Instagram presence that keeps the idol chapter connected to the actress one. Not many artists move between those ecosystems without losing definition. Zhou has managed it by changing mediums without flattening her image.
