IGIN
IGIN is a Korean craft gin label co-founded by Jin of BTS and chef-entrepreneur Baek Jong-won, with production rooted in Yesan, South Chungcheong Province. The brand launched in late 2024 around a Korean-rice-and-apple recipe that positioned it closer to modern lifestyle branding than old-school spirits marketing.
The name folds together gin, Jin, and the Korean verb igida, giving the label an identity that feels personal instead of corporate. Its public tagline, Where Smiles Begin, matches that tone. Early rollout centered on GS25 in Korea before broader retail expansion, while The Born Mall became a key public storefront for the brand.
By 2025 and 2026, IGIN had already widened the lineup beyond the core bottle through Apple Gin and RTD extensions such as Sacomtonic, Sweet Watermelon, and Pink Comtonic. That fast product ramp made IGIN one of the more visible celebrity-linked drinks launches to come out of the Korean market.
