JYP Japan
JYP Japan is JYP Entertainment’s Japanese subsidiary, built to manage local operations, market development, and artist activity in one of K-pop’s most important overseas territories. JYP’s corporate materials position Japan as one of the company’s core global bases alongside Korea, China, and the United States.
The unit has played a central role in JYP’s Japanese growth cycle, especially through artists such as 2PM and NEXZ. It also operates as a bridge between domestic Korean planning and local Japanese execution, which is why the executive layer matters as much as the roster itself.
That structure became more visible in 2026 when Billboard Women in Music recognized Song Ji-eun, also known as Shannen, for work spanning JYP Japan and ONE Label.
