KT Studio Genie
KT Studio Genie (KT스튜디오지니) is the drama production and content planning arm of KT Corporation, one of South Korea largest telecommunications conglomerates. Established in January 2021, the studio operates as the content hub for the KT Group, overseeing planning, production, acquisition, and distribution of original Korean dramas and film content.
Working in close partnership with ENA, KT Studio Genie has produced some of the most commercially and critically successful K-dramas of recent years. Its slate includes Crash Course in Romance (2023), Juvenile Justice (2022), and the webtoon adaptation Lies Hidden in My Garden (2023), which premiered on ENA and subsequently streamed globally via Netflix. The studio has pursued an aggressive international expansion strategy, inking a global distribution deal with MediaHub in December 2025 and partnering with Samsung Electronics to bring its Genie TV Originals to Samsung TV Plus worldwide.
KT Studio Genie produces content across genres including thriller, romance, and legal drama, positioning itself as a full-stack Korean content studio competing directly with the legacy big three broadcasters.
