Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands (MBS) is Singapore's most iconic integrated resort, a three-tower architectural landmark designed by Moshe Safdie that has defined the city's skyline since opening in 2010. Owned and operated by Las Vegas Sands Corporation, the property spans a 15.5-hectare site along Marina Bay and includes a 2,561-room hotel, a 120,000-square-meter convention center (the largest in Southeast Asia), the ArtScience Museum, a casino, over 800 retail stores, celebrity chef restaurants, and the famous rooftop SkyPark with its infinity pool 57 stories above ground. The resort generates over $3 billion in annual revenue, making it one of the most profitable single properties in global hospitality. Its facade has become a canvas for large-scale light shows, brand activations, and cultural events. MBS has emerged as Southeast Asia's premier K-pop destination: in January 2025, the three towers were lit up in rose quartz and serenity blue for SEVENTEEN's "The Wonderland with SEVENTEEN" activation -- the first time any K-pop group had its official colors projected across the entire MBS building. In March 2026, SEVENTEEN returned for the resort-wide SEVENTEEN EXPERIENCE, transforming the property's dining venues, hotel corridors, and event spaces into immersive fan activations ahead of a Singapore concert. A $8 billion expansion project, Marina Bay Sands Phase 2, broke ground in 2023 and will add a fourth tower, a 15,000-seat entertainment arena, additional hotel rooms, and expanded luxury retail. Completion is expected by 2029. The planned arena will make MBS one of the largest integrated concert and convention destinations in Asia, further cementing its role as a hub for global touring acts with significant regional fanbases.
