NANGMANCREW
NANGMANCREW (낭만크루) is a South Korean drama production company that has established itself as one of the sharper creative forces in the premium streaming space. Founded by producer Kim Ju-hee, the company collaborates consistently with top-tier directors and writers, excelling at grounding genre storytelling in emotional authenticity.
NANGMANCREW broke through with Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022), a ENA/Netflix series about a lawyer with autism spectrum disorder that became a global streaming sensation, reaching Netflix's weekly top ten in over 20 countries. The show introduced lead writer Moon Ji-won to international audiences and helped cement ENA's reputation as a prestige drama channel. NANGMANCREW followed with When the Phone Rings (2024), a gripping romantic thriller that recorded 7.5% peak ratings on MBC and logged 6.6 million Netflix views in its first week.
The company's most ambitious project to date is The WONDERfools, set to premiere May 15, 2026 on Netflix. The series reunites the creative core of When the Phone Rings and has been positioned as one of Netflix Korea's major 2026 originals. NANGMANCREW has no public-facing website or social media beyond its X account, operating as a content-first production company without a consumer brand presence.
