npio Entertainment
npio Entertainment is a Seoul management and production company built to do more than maintain an actor roster. Founded on July 1, 2019 by former JYP Entertainment executive Pyo Jong-rok, the company was designed to move across representation, project packaging, and production rather than sit inside the old agency-only model.
That structure still defines the brand. npio's public-facing identity is tied to actor management, with names such as Shin Ye Eun helping anchor its visibility, but the company also markets itself directly through drama, film, variety, and web-series production activity. It wants to be in the deal, not just waiting for casting calls.
The positioning makes sense in the current Korean market. A boutique company that can manage talent and help shape projects has more leverage than one that only brokers schedules. That is why npio continues to feel sharper than a generic mid-size actor house, even without the scale of the largest entertainment groups.
