POP MART
POP MART is one of the companies that pushed designer toys from collector subculture into a global retail habit. The official store describes the business as a market-leading player in character-based entertainment, and the group's Hong Kong filings say its core business covers the design, development, and sale of pop toys across China and overseas markets.
Founded in 2010 and led by chairman and chief executive officer Wang Ning, POP MART now operates with public-company scale rather than niche-shop reach. In its 2024 annual results, the group said revenue from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and overseas markets reached RMB5,065.7 million, a sign of how much its international business now matters.
That scale is why crossovers like the aespa Fluffy Club drop land differently. POP MART is not borrowing fandom attention for a one-off novelty. It is plugging K-pop IP into a collectible system built around character storytelling, product formats, and repeat-buy behavior that already makes sense to its audience.
