Prescription Songs is an independent music publishing and licensing company founded in 2009 by producer-songwriter Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald. Based in Los Angeles, the company represents songwriters and producers whose credits span pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. Writers on the Prescription Songs roster have contributed to recordings by Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, Ke$ha, Benny Blanco, and 24kGoldn, among others.

Between 2013 and 2017, Prescription Songs held a joint publishing deal with Nashville-based Big Machine Records to build bridges between the Nashville songwriting community and the pop world. The company transitioned its operations to the prescriptionsongs.com domain as the publishing arm became its own distinct identity. Under leadership that has been predominantly female at the executive level, Prescription Songs has continued expanding its influence in global music markets.
