EJAE

Kim Eun-jae (김은재; born December 6, 1991) is a South Korean-American singer, songwriter, and record producer who spent years as one of K-pop's most sought-after behind-the-scenes writers before the world knew her name. Her credits include the topline for Red Velvet's "Psycho" (certified gold in the U.S.), plus songwriting and production work for aespa, TWICE, and LE SSERAFIM. Her international breakthrough came in 2025 when she was tapped to provide the singing voice for Rumi in Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation's KPop Demon Hunters. The film's signature track "Golden" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, won the Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media, and took the Golden Globe for Best Original Song -- the first K-pop song to win both. A NYU Tisch School of the Arts graduate who trained under SM Entertainment as a teenager, EJAE performed "Golden" live at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards in London. Her debut solo single "In Another World" arrived October 24, 2025, followed by "Time After Time" in February 2026.
