Shinsegae International is the Korean lifestyle operator that treats fashion, beauty, and retail curation as one portfolio problem. That matters in K-beauty because the company is not just pushing standalone products. It is building premium brand worlds, then backing them with distribution discipline and customer-experience polish.
The beauty division is where that strategy is showing up most clearly. The company said first-quarter 2026 consolidated revenue reached 295.6 billion won, while beauty sales hit a record 124 billion won. Brands including Yunjac helped drive that momentum, alongside imported luxury beauty and a skin-prep category Shinsegae says grew 118 percent last year.
That makes Shinsegae International more than a prestige vanity project. It is one of the Korean operators trying to turn premium beauty into a scalable export lane, a position that puts it in a different but overlapping conversation with Amorepacific and category powerhouses such as Olive Young.
