SKIMS
SKIMS is the solutions-first intimates and lifestyle label co-founded by Kim Kardashian, Emma Grede, and Jens Grede in 2019. What began as a shapewear launch built around inclusive nude shades and extended sizing quickly turned into one of fashion's fastest-scaling basics businesses.
The brand moved from contourwear into underwear, loungewear, swim, and active product without losing its core proposition: close fit, neutral palette, and broad size access. Retail expansion through Nordstrom, SSENSE, Selfridges, and flagship stores in New York and Los Angeles pushed SKIMS beyond celebrity-brand territory into full global-distribution mode.
Its K-culture relevance accelerated when Rose fronted the Valentine's Day 2025 campaign and Lisa led the NikeSKIMS Spring ’26 rollout. Those campaigns gave the label visible momentum across Korea and Southeast Asia while tying it more directly to the fashion side of the Hallyu economy.
NikeSKIMS became the company's biggest growth lever after the February 2025 joint-venture announcement. The partnership's 2025 debut collection and Spring 2026 expansion helped turn SKIMS into a serious performance-lifestyle player rather than a premium basics specialist with celebrity reach.
By late 2025, SKIMS had hit a $5 billion valuation after a Goldman Sachs Alternatives-led funding round and projected more than $1 billion in net sales. Its 2026 Regent Street flagship lease and NikeSKIMS international rollout showed the company was scaling like a long-horizon global brand, not a short-cycle hype label.
