82MAJOR
82MAJOR (에이티투메이저) is a six-member South Korean boy group under Great M Entertainment. The group consists of Seongil (leader), Yechan, Seongmo, Seongbin, Seokjun, and Dogyun. They debuted on October 11, 2023 with their single album ON featuring Sure Thing and First Class. The group name combines South Korea's calling code 82 with the word major, symbolizing their ambition to represent Korea on the global stage.
Before debut, the group was known as RAREHOUSE during their pre-debut period. Several members came with competitive experience: Seongbin and Seongmo both competed on Show Me The Money 11, while main dancer Yechan's older brother is Keeho from P1Harmony.
82MAJOR has released five projects: ON (2023), Beat by 82 (2024), X-82 (2024), Silence Syndrome (2025), and Trophy (October 2025). Trophy marked their commercial breakthrough, selling 100,243 copies in its first week. This made them the first Great M act to crack 100,000 first-week sales. Their official fandom is called 82DE.
In May 2025, SM Entertainment acquired a significant stake in Great M as the second-largest shareholder, part of SM's 3.0 expansion strategy. On March 19, 2026, the group announced an April 2026 comeback, their first release in six months.
