Hwang Seong-bin

Hwang Seong-bin (황성빈), known by his stage name Seongbin (성빈), is the main rapper of South Korean boy group 82MAJOR under Great M Entertainment. Born June 22, 2004, in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, he is one of the few active idol rappers with a verified hip-hop competition background before debut.

Before joining 82MAJOR, Seongbin competed on Mnet's Show Me The Money 11 (2022), passing the first round alongside future groupmate Nam Seong-mo. The Great M Instagram followed him in October 2022, setting up his formal reveal as a member of pre-debut group RAREHOUSE. When that group relaunched as 82MAJOR, Seongbin became the primary carrier of the group's hip-hop identity. He debuted with the group on October 11, 2023, with the single album On.

The group released three EPs in rapid succession: Beat by 82 (April 2024), X-82 (October 2024, with lead single "Stuck"), and Silence Syndrome (April 2025). Seongbin's understated off-stage personality -- shy around new people, ISFP on MBTI -- stands in contrast to his confident delivery on record. His nickname within the group is Bean (콩).
