Great M Entertainment
Great M Entertainment (그레이트엠 엔터테인먼트) is a South Korean entertainment company founded in 2020 by Kim Young-sun, a founding member and former managing director of FNC Entertainment. Based in Gangnam, Seoul, Great M made its name in K-Pop by debuting 82MAJOR in October 2023. The six-member group (Cho Seong-il, Yoon Ye-chan, Nam Seong-mo, Hwang Seong-bin, Park Seok-joon, Kim Do-gyun) blends hip-hop, performance, and an emphasis on musicality that distinguishes them from more formulaic fourth-generation acts.
In May 2025, SM Entertainment became the second-largest shareholder in Great M as part of SM's multi-label 3.0 expansion strategy. The investment, finalized May 27, 2025, brought SM's distribution power and global network to bear on 82MAJOR's international push without absorbing the label outright. Great M retains operational independence.
82MAJOR's fourth mini album Trophy (October 2025) broke 100,000 first-week sales, the company's first certification at that scale. In March 2026, the group released a teaser confirming a new album scheduled for April 2026, entering one of K-Pop's most competitive comeback windows. Great M's first signed artist was Choa (Kim Joa-won), former main vocalist of AOA, who joined in 2020 ahead of 82MAJOR's formation.
