AB6IX

AB6IX is one of the more self-directed groups to come out of the late third and early fourth-generation crossover period. Formed by BRANDNEW MUSIC, the team debuted on May 22, 2019 and turned post-Produce visibility into a catalog that leaned hard on member authorship, tighter fan communication, and a cleaner pop-rap balance than many peers. The current lineup, Jeon Woong, Kim Donghyun, Park Woojin, and Lee Daehwi, has kept the group moving through lineup change, solo activity, and a volatile contract cycle without losing its identity. In April 2026, that identity hit a new pressure point when the company confirmed the members’ contracts expire on May 25 and that AB6IX will enter a temporary hiatus after its May 23 and 24 “6IX TO SEVEN” concerts.
