AB6IX
AB6IX is one of the cleaner examples of a post-survival-show group turning short-term attention into a durable catalog. Formed by BRANDNEW MUSIC in 2019, the team of Jeon Woong, Kim Donghyun, Park Woojin, and Lee Daehwi built its identity around member-written pop, leaner rap structure, and a stage style that feels tighter than the market tier it is usually placed in.
That self-directed angle is the reason AB6IX lasted. The group debuted with B:COMPLETE, kept extending its sound through projects like MO' COMPLETE and The Future Is Ours, and never stopped treating songwriting as part of the brand. Lee Daehwi and Park Woojin arrived with Wanna One visibility, but AB6IX stopped feeling like an afterglow project a long time ago. It became its own thing by stacking reliable releases and live sets instead of chasing louder trend pivots.
The 2026 cycle sharpened that story. AB6IX opened the year with the full-length album Seven: Crimson Horizon, then moved toward the May 6IX TO SEVEN concerts as contract talks with BRANDNEW MUSIC continued. That made the group's next step feel bigger than routine renewal drama. AB6IX now sits at the point where catalog strength, fan trust, and individual member value all matter at once.
