B.I (비아이), born Kim Hanbin, is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer who founded 131LABEL (now 131 Online). He debuted as the leader of iKON under YG Entertainment in September 2015, where he served as the sole producer for all of the groups releases. His work on "Love Scenario" earned him Songwriter of the Year at the 2018 Melon Music Awards, with the track later ranked among Rolling Stone 100 greatest Korean pop songs. After departing iKON and YG in June 2019, B.I rebuilt his career independently, launching 131LABEL in 2020. His solo debut came in 2021 with the album Waterfall, whose title track "Illa Illa" broke the record for most-viewed K-pop male solo debut music video within 24 hours. He has since released studio albums Cosmos (2021), To Die For (2023), and Wonderland (2025), establishing himself as a standalone artist while maintaining his reputation as one of K-pops most respected producers.
