Chaeryeong
Lee Chae-ryeong (이채령), known as Chaeryeong, is the main dancer and sub-vocalist of ITZY under JYP Entertainment. Born June 5, 2001, in Yongin, South Korea, she is the younger sister of singer Lee Chaeyeon, former member of IZ*ONE. Chaeryeong attended Hanlim Multi Art School, studying musical theatre alongside ITZY's Ryujin.
Her training trail dates to 2013, when she appeared alongside Chaeyeon on the third season of K-Pop Star. Both were praised for their dancing and soon became JYP Entertainment trainees. In 2015, the pair competed on Mnet's idol survival show Sixteen, which formed TWICE. In 2017, she appeared in the pilot episode of Stray Kids alongside future ITZY members Yeji, Ryujin, and Yuna.
Chaeryeong debuted with ITZY on February 12, 2019, with It'z Different. In August 2021, she was selected as Studio Choom's "Artist of the Month" and performed a viral solo cover of Camila Cabello's "Cry for Me." In June 2023, she featured on "Doremifasolatido" from Lee Chan-hyuk's album Umbrella. That November, she and Yeji served as mentors on SBS's survival series Universe Ticket.
On December 25, 2023, Chaeryeong released "Mine" -- a solo track from ITZY's eighth EP Born to Be that she co-wrote and composed. The song debuted at number 51 on the Circle Download Chart. On December 19, 2024, she released "21" for the series Who Is She. In March 2025, she donated 20 million won to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to support wildfire victims and firefighters across Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang.
