Handong
Handong (한동), born Han Dong (韓東) on March 26, 1996 in Wuhan, China, is a Chinese singer and member of K-pop girl group Dreamcatcher. She is the only non-Korean member of the group and is noted for her elegant, controlled stage presence.
Handong joined the MINX-to-Dreamcatcher transition in December 2016 and made her official Dreamcatcher debut on January 13, 2017 with the single "Nightmare." In 2020, she was temporarily unable to participate in some group promotions due to schedules in China, during which she competed on the Chinese survival program Youth With You before being eliminated in May 2020.
On October 20, 2020, Handong released her first solo single "First Light of Dawn," a Chinese-language track marking her solo debut. In March 2025, Dreamcatcher Company announced that her exclusive contract would expire on March 31, 2025, and she elected not to renew, though she continues as a Dreamcatcher member. On May 13, 2025, she launched L!GHTING (灯厂), her own Chinese personal studio, through which she manages her independent activities while remaining part of Dreamcatcher.
