Heeyeon
Heeyeon (희연) is the lead guitarist in LATENCY and the musician many Korean fans already knew through her Fingerstylish channel years before the band existed. That matters because she did not enter the project as a standard trainee archetype. She arrived with her own audience, her own technical reputation, and a playing style that instantly changed the group's ceiling.
Her public profile was built on guitar performance content, live musicianship, and formal training that later fed into broader work around the Korean music scene. Before LATENCY's 2026 debut under Oddinary Records, Heeyeon had already built enough credibility to teach and collaborate across scenes, including work connected to QWER. That background is why her presence inside LATENCY feels structural instead of decorative.
LATENCY's January 8, 2026 debut single It Was Love and the March 18, 2026 mini album LATE O'CLOCK gave Heeyeon a new mainstream frame, but they did not invent her musicianship. They scaled it. For HITKULTR, she reads as the player who keeps the project honest: technically fluent, audience-tested, and sharp enough to make the band's live-first pitch believable.
