Im Joo Hwan (임주환) has spent two decades building one of Korean television's steadiest actor-first careers. He made his screen debut through SBS in 2004, then broke through in MBC period drama Tamra, the Island, a cult favorite that turned him into a name viewers kept returning to even when the ratings never fully matched the quality.
