Jang Ye-eun
Jang Ye-eun (장예은), better known as J, is the youngest member of STAYC and part of the six-person lineup that gave High Up Entertainment its defining public success. She entered the market through the same November 2020 debut that introduced the group with Star to a Young Culture, placing her inside a launch built directly from the songwriting pedigree of Black Eyed Pilseung.
That context matters because J was never just filler in a producer-designed system. STAYC's whole appeal depends on member contrast, and her presence helps keep the group from flattening into one-note polish. As the team moved from a rookie breakthrough into bigger album cycles, the member profiles that matter were the ones that could show why each name still registers inside the larger brand.
By 2026, STAYC had already stretched into its first Japanese studio album and was carrying the kind of catalog weight that smaller labels rarely sustain for long. With UNCHILD now opening High Up's next roster chapter and Rado still central to the company's production identity, J's page needed to feel connected to a real label ecosystem instead of a generic debut-era snapshot.
