High Up Entertainment is the Seoul label built by Black Eyed Pilseung, the producer team that spent the 2010s writing hits before turning that catalog leverage into an actual company. Founded in 2017 with CJ ENM in the picture and later backed by Kakao Entertainment, High Up entered the market with a more focused thesis than most mid-tier idol labels: fewer acts, tighter creative control, and music-first execution.

That strategy became real when STAYC debuted in November 2020. The group did more than score a clean rookie launch. It gave High Up a genuine frontline act with enough replay value to survive past the first-wave hype cycle. Member pages such as Park Si-eun also show how the company blended idol training with broader entertainment backgrounds instead of starting from a blank slate.

The label's second phase arrived in 2026 with UNCHILD, its first new girl group since STAYC. That matters because it confirms High Up is trying to build a roster, not just protect one breakout success. In a market crowded with scale plays, High Up still works best as a precision operator whose public footprint stays smaller than its actual hit impact.
