Jeon Somi
Jeon Somi (전소미) won Produce 101 at 15 and has been proving that first-place finish was just the opening act ever since. Born in Ontario, Canada to a Korean mother and Dutch-Canadian father, she debuted as the center of I.O.I in 2016. When the project group disbanded, she made the boldest move of her young career: leaving JYP Entertainment for The Black Label, Teddy Park's boutique agency under the YG umbrella. The bet paid off. Her 2019 solo debut "Birthday" established her signature sound, and the 2021 album XOXO produced "Dumb Dumb," which cracked the top ten.
