Jiwoo (KARD)
Jeon Ji-woo (전지우), known as Jiwoo, has always been one of the structural engines inside KARD. As the group's main dancer, lead vocalist, rapper, and maknae, she helped the co-ed act hold a difficult balance across performance, tone, and charisma from the 2016 project-single run through later releases under DSP Media. KARD's catalog only works because each member brings a distinct lane, and Jiwoo's has consistently been the sharpest mix of movement and attitude.
Her 2026 solo debut finally turned that long-building upside into a standalone artist statement. The EP (EX)IST, led by "Home Sweet Home," positioned her as more than a group utility player, with DSP's official profile listing the release alongside self-written tracks including "Lily" and the BM-assisted "Dang Dong." That matters because it reframed Jiwoo as an artist with authorship, not just execution.
She still sits at the center of KARD's identity, but the current page should also read as the start of a real solo catalog. Jiwoo's value in 2026 is not potential alone. It is proof that one of KARD's most reliable performers can now command her own era without leaving the group framework behind.
