KARD
KARD (μΉ΄λ) is a South Korean co-ed group formed by DSP Media, composed of four members: J.Seph, BM, Somin, and Jiwoo. The group name draws from a card-game concept: each member holds a unique card. BM is the King, J.Seph is the Ace, Somin is the Black JokeR, and Jiwoo is the Color JokeR. They officially debuted on July 19, 2017 with the EP Hola Hola, following a pre-debut series of KARD Project singles that built an international fanbase before the group even had an official name.
KARD stands out as one of K-pop's only co-ed groups in a landscape dominated by same-gender acts. Their sound blends Latin pop, EDM, dancehall and hip-hop, attracting a uniquely global audience from their earliest releases. Hit tracks like Oh NaNa (2016), Bomb Bomb (2019), and ICKY (2023) established them as pioneers of the co-ed format.
In 2024, the group released Where To Now? (Pt. 1: Yellow Light) and the single Detox. Their 8th mini album DRIFT dropped in July 2025, launching the KARD 2025 World Tour that kicked off in Seoul on July 19 before hitting Los Angeles, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, and cities across Europe, Southeast Asia and Latin America. The group teased new projects for 2026 during tour stops.
