Juria

Juria (쥬리아) is a main vocalist of XG, the seven-member Japanese group under XGALX and Avex. Born Ueda Juria (上田純利亜) on November 28, 2004, in Osaka, Japan, she entered professional performance as a child, building extensive experience before joining XG. Juria began her career as a member of the kids' idol group Amorecarina Tokyo, graduating on September 30, 2015, having also been part of its sub-unit Juri-Puri. As a child she appeared in television and advertising, including a commercial for the Nintendo 3DS game Ciao Illust Club and a 2015 appearance on TV Tokyo's Piramekino. After graduating from Amorecarina, she went by the name Ueda Juria and became a special student at Avex Artist Academy Tokyo, where she refined her vocal and performance skills. She was formerly credited as Yanou Juria (矢納純利亜). She was revealed as XG's sixth member on February 3, 2022, ahead of the group's March 18, 2022 debut with "Tippy Toes." Her mother instilled a love of music in her from the age of ten, and she draws from pop, R&B, and hip-hop in her approach to performance. She remains one of XG's most technically grounded vocalists, anchoring the group across all major releases from Tippy Toes through THE CORE in 2025.
