XG
XG is the seven-member group built by XGALX to operate outside the usual Japan-versus-Korea framing. Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Harvey, Juria, Maya, and Cocona debuted on March 18, 2022 with Tippy Toes and immediately positioned the project around rap-forward performance, English-language releases, and a self-defined X-POP identity.
The strategy worked fast. XG became the first Japanese act to top Billboard's Hot Trending Songs weekly chart, turned LEFT RIGHT and SHOOTING STAR into global breakout records, and used 2024's AWE to land its first Billboard 200 entry. Their first world tour scaled across dozens of cities before a Tokyo Dome finale, proving the audience was not limited to one market.
The current chapter is even bigger. XG's first full album THE CORE - 核 arrived in January 2026, followed by the XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE. In practical terms, XG now sits at the center of how Avex Group and XGALX are exporting Japanese talent through a global-pop playbook rather than a domestic idol template.
