XGALX
XGALX is the global-facing production company behind XG, built inside the wider Avex Group structure but positioned with its own identity. From the start, the company framed itself around borderless rollout, high-spec performance, and the idea of building new culture rather than simply servicing one domestic market. That pitch could have stayed abstract. XG made it legible.
The official XGALX site still leans on the language of breaking boundaries and creating new values through bold creativity. The more useful proof sits in execution. XG debuted in March 2022, reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Trending Songs chart, entered the Billboard 200 with AWE, drew about 400,000 attendees across 47 shows in 35 cities on its first world tour, and closed Tokyo Dome before returning with 2026 album THE CORE - 核 and a second world tour. That is not a niche-label resume.
XGALX matters because it changed how one group could be read across K-pop, global pop, and multilingual internet culture at the same time. In 2026 the company also became a resilience test after Simon Jakops stepped down, but operations continued through the official structure. That leaves XGALX as more than a one-group success story. It is now a label proving whether the platform can outlast its founding architect.
