Kim Ji-woong

Kim Ji-woong (김지웅) built a rare pre-idol runway before his breakthrough with ZEROBASEONE. He debuted in 2016 through INX, spent the next few years moving between short-lived group projects and acting work, then turned Boys Planet into a full reset when he ranked eighth and entered the WAKEONE Entertainment project group in July 2023.

That history matters because Ji-woong did not arrive as a blank-slate trainee story. He already had screen traction through BL dramas like Kissable Lips and Roommates of Poongduck 304, which gave him an audience before the idol surge hit. Inside ZEROBASEONE, he has stayed central through the group's mini album run from Youth in the Shade to BLUE PARADISE, then into the 2026 RE-FLOW extension cycle that kept the group active beyond the original contract window.
