Lee Su-hyun
Lee Su-hyun (이수현) is a South Korean singer, actress, and radio personality born May 4, 1999, in Gyeonggi Province. She spent her early years in Mongolia alongside her older brother Lee Chan-hyuk before the siblings returned to Korea. In 2012, they competed on SBS K-pop Star 2 as AKMU (악뮤), finishing first and signing with YG Entertainment. They officially debuted in April 2014.
As AKMU's main vocalist, Su-hyun anchors the duo's sound with a tone that is warm, precise, and deceptively effortless. Beyond the duo, she formed the sub-unit Hi Suhyun with Lee Hi in 2014, and debuted as a solo artist in October 2020 with the digital single "Alien." Her solo and collaborative discography includes OSTs for It's Okay to Not Be Okay and the 2020 Disney live-action Mulan. She has hosted the KBS Cool FM radio show AKMU Suhyun's Volume Up and served as a judge on Superband. Her work on the radio earned her the Radio DJ Award at the 16th KBS Entertainment Awards.
AKMU released Next Episode in 2021 and the Love Lee EP in 2023, with "Love Lee" becoming one of their biggest hits. In June 2024, AKMU released the EP "1," and in November 2025 they decided to depart YG Entertainment. On January 20, 2026, they announced their own independent label, Fountain of Inspiration -- a name drawn from a Lee Chan-hyuk art exhibition. The transition took effect January 27, 2026. By late February, AKMU teased a fourth album on social media, posting a Polaroid with the words "4th Album" scrawled across it.
