MINJU

MINJU (민주), born Park Min-ju on May 11, 2004, is a member of ILLIT (아일릿) known for her vocal power and striking visuals. She trained at both YG Entertainment and HYBE before competing on the 2023 JTBC survival show R U Next?, placing third and earning her spot in the final lineup. Her YG-trained rap and vocal delivery made her one of the show's most talked-about contestants. Under Belift Lab, MINJU debuted on March 25, 2024, with the mini album SUPER REAL ME. Lead single "Magnetic" became the first debut song by a K-pop act to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, entering at number 91. ILLIT also became the first K-pop group to enter the UK Official Singles Chart with a debut release. The group followed with second EP I'll Like You in October 2024, then third EP bomb in June 2025, led by the single "Do the Dance." In May 2025, MINJU and groupmate Yunah were featured on "See U Tonight" by American singer Kylie Cantrall, from Cantrall's debut EP B.O.Y. The collab marked one of ILLIT's first cross-genre Western features. The year closed with the double-single Not Cute Anymore in November 2025. Beyond music, ILLIT has become a major endorsement force, partnering with Bioderma, Crocs, Pocari Sweat, and Acne Studios. Originally from Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, MINJU is regarded as one of ILLIT's most vocally distinct members, with a tone that anchors the group's pop-leaning production.
