MOKA
MOKA (모카), born Sakai Moka on October 8, 2004, is one of the defining members of ILLIT, the Belift Lab girl group that broke out with the viral single Magnetic. As one of the act's two Japanese members, she has become a key part of ILLIT's cross-market identity, helping the group connect cleanly across Korea, Japan, and the wider global pop audience that responded to its debut.
Before debut, MOKA trained for roughly three years after entering the HYBE Japan system in 2020. She later transitioned into the final lineup built through R U Next?, the survival show that formed ILLIT. That route matters because her career has been shaped by both long-form trainee discipline and high-pressure public evaluation, two factors that show up in the calm control of her performances.
Her official catalogue already includes SUPER REAL ME, I'LL LIKE YOU, bomb, Not Cute Anymore, and MAMIHLAPINATAPAI. With Magnetic helping ILLIT set major streaming milestones in Japan and beyond, MOKA's role inside the group feels increasingly central to the act's long-term global story.
