Momo
Momo (모모), born Hirai Momo (平井 もも), is one of the clearest performance benchmarks of third-generation K-pop. After joining JYP Entertainment as a trainee in 2012, she turned Sixteen into a comeback story instead of a setback, then debuted with TWICE in October 2015. Her timing, line control, and sheer stamina helped define the group's performance identity as it scaled from Korean chart force to one of the biggest touring acts in pop.
What separates Momo is how cleanly she holds shape at speed. She makes difficult choreography read as natural, which is why her name keeps coming up whenever fans or peers talk about elite K-pop dancers. That standard carried across TWICE eras from Formula of Love: O+T=<3 to READY TO BE, and it kept her visible even inside a nine-member group packed with star power.
Her lane widened again through MISAMO, where the unit's sleeker pacing and Japanese-market focus gave her a different frame. Releases like Masterpiece and HAUTE COUTURE sharpened her identity beyond dance breaks alone. A decade into TWICE, Momo still reads like the standard others study first.
