Park Gun-wook

Park Gun-wook (박건욱) is a South Korean singer, rapper, and lyricist under WAKEONE Entertainment. Born January 10, 2005, in Osan, he trained under Jellyfish Entertainment before joining Mnet survival show Wild Idol and later Boys Planet, where he ranked fifth and earned his spot in ZEROBASEONE. An all-rounder before the term became overused, Gun-wook brought technical dance precision and a developing rap identity to a group that debuted on July 10, 2023, with Youth in the Shade. His solo creative instincts surfaced on his 21st birthday in January 2025, when he released "Placebo," an original song he wrote, composed, and arranged himself, debuting alongside a self-directed music video. That output earned him real songwriter credibility. He co-wrote lyrics on ZB1 tracks across multiple albums and contributed to the group’s Japanese EP catalog. In February 2026, WAKEONE confirmed Gun-wook and fellow member Seok Matthew as the first two ZB1 members to sign exclusive contracts directly with the agency, cementing his long-term role in the reorganized group. He is one of five continuing members following the departure of four members whose contracts with their previous agencies expired.
