Ryo
Hirose Ryo (廣瀬遼 / 히로세 료), born August 4, 2007 in Kyoto, is a vocalist in NCT WISH, the six-member unit that extends NCT into a more youth-forward Japan-Korea lane under SM Entertainment. He was scouted in 2022 after attending an NCT 127 concert in Kyoto, a fan-to-idol arc that fits the wider emotional pitch of NCT WISH itself.
Ryo trained for roughly a year before appearing on NCT Universe: LASTART, where he secured one of the final debut spots. That compressed runway makes him different from some of the longer-trained members around him. His appeal is built less on veteran polish and more on fast growth, bright tone, and a natural ease inside the group's softer melodic material. He has also been framed by fans as one of the clearest examples of NCT WISH's "refreshing and neo" identity, where technical discipline meets a lighter emotional texture.
Since debut, Ryo has been part of the releases that established the unit's market position, from Wish and Wishful through COLOR and the 2026 album Ode To Love. As NCT WISH grows beyond its launch phase, Ryo remains one of the members most closely associated with the group's youthful vocal color and its ability to make high-concept branding feel easy to like.
