Sakuya

Fujinaga Sakuya (藤永咲哉 / 후지나가 사쿠야), born November 18, 2007 in Ishikawa and raised in Saitama, is the maknae, lead rapper, and sub-vocalist of NCT WISH. Inside SM Entertainment's final fixed NCT unit, he represents the youngest edge of the lineup while still carrying real performance responsibility.

Sakuya entered the public picture through NCT Universe: LASTART, where he moved from late-introduced contestant to one of the members who most clearly fit the team's emotional concept. He trained for around a year before debut and quickly became central to the unit's visual personality: playful, curious, and easy to read on camera, but structured enough to hold the rap and supporting vocal duties that keep NCT WISH records moving.

That balance has mattered as the group has expanded beyond debut. From Wish and Wishful to COLOR and Ode To Love, Sakuya has been part of the releases that turned NCT WISH from a high-attention launch into a durable fifth-generation act. His youth is part of the story, but it is not the whole story. What keeps him interesting is how quickly he has converted maknae energy into actual stage utility.
