Semi
Semi (세미; born Goo Se-mi, 구세미, April 10, 2002) is a South Korean singer, bassist, and actress. She is the maknae and bassist of live band LATENCY under Oddinary Records, alongside former Cignature bandmates ZZONE and Haeun, guitarist Heeyeon, and former LOONA member Hyunjin.
Semi was introduced as a member of C9 Entertainment's next girl group on November 12, 2019, and debuted with Cignature on February 4, 2020, with the single 'Nun Nu Nan Na.' She held the positions of lead dancer, vocalist, and maknae throughout the group's run. She remained with Cignature until they unanimously disbanded on December 3, 2024, after releasing five extended plays across four years.
Following disbandment, Semi joined the LATENCY project alongside her former Cignature groupmates. The band documented their formation through the web series Motchuh Do Rock! before debuting January 8, 2026 with the digital single 'It Was Love.' Their first mini album Late O' Clock followed in March 2026. Semi plays bass in the group, having taken up the instrument specifically for LATENCY.
Aside from music, Semi has worked as an actress, adding a performance background that she brings into LATENCY's live-focused concept.
